Fading Fondant

I was watching a show, Cake Hunters. they gave me a very good tip, and I thought I would pass it on to you. They were making a cake that needed pink fondant. Her assistant was making it, and she told her that the fondant will fade. You need to make your fondant a little darker to take in account of fading.
